on US 27 (stoplight #6)
If you live locally or are planning on getting to town early, join as we relax and tell some cruisin' tales
while enjoying some tasty ice cream! This is a very relaxing way to kick off the cruisin' weekend.

Friday, September 23rd, Noon-2PM:
Early Bird Meet & Greet/Q97 Live Remote from Visitors Center!
1 block west of Kmart on Hwy 80 at the Pulaski County Convention & Visitors Bureau, stop by and say
"hi!", FREE Pepsi's and T-shirts along with great classic rock from Classic Hits Q97! Cruise Team
members will be on hand and we would love to meet you!

Friday, September 23rd, 6PM-10PM:
Wal-Mart's Rock & Roll Block Party in
Downtown Somerset!
Bring your classic or hotrod and enjoy this fun, “must do” event for the entire family! Door prizes, contests,
food, live bands and dancing! Over 300 show cars attend this ‘must do’ event each month, don't miss
it! Feel free to “cruise the strip” on Friday night as well!  Cruise weekend is just getting started!


Saturday, September 24th, 8:00AM:
Saturday Morning Fun Run at Hardee's South,
stoplight #22 on US 27!
Fun Run participants will receive a FREE breakfast before departing. We will depart at 9:00AM promptly
for the  September destination...Lee's Ford Marina for a fun Amphi-car Splash & Swim! The Amphicar Club will be holding a meet at this month's show and we invite you to come watch a group of these unique little cars motor around the dock area on land and in the water. You might even get a free ride!

Somerset for the Show & Shine!!!
It’s the Big Show!!! Blocks and blocks of showcars and trucks! Stroll thru the downtown area admiring
all the chrome and horsepower, talk to car owners and enjoy the family oriented atmosphere! Don't
forget to visit our official merchandise trailer for the brand new 2011 t-shirts for adults and kids. In the
Vendor Alley, you can sample great food, check out vendor displays and shop for new performance and
restoration parts. There is plenty to see and do at Somernites Cruise and always a few surprises! You
will enjoy the great cruisin' tunes all over town too! We also offer a Car Corral and a FREE hourly shuttle
bus to local shopping centers!

This month’s Specialty Area is all about you! If you own a Corvette, this is the place for you! We
encourage clubs to use this event as a mini-meet or group outing. We will gladly park your group

Kruze Zone

Cruisin' The Strip all weekend!
It’s Saturday night so, it must be time to cruise! We know it's one of the main reasons you come to
Somernites Cruise so, get your car out on “the strip” and cruise! Thousands of spectators waving and
cheering from street side! There are lots of activities at businesses up and down the strip. Tune your
radio to 97.1FM for great tunes and cruise the night away! It's a blast! Please cruise in the outside lanes,
be courteous and obey all posted traffic laws. We want to see you again next month!
