| The cruise area incorporates music, vendors, food, and all around good fun with friends and family! Cars usually keep coming in all throughout the afternoon. We encourage you to stay as long as possible! Seeing the 1000+ show cars form a long line and cruise out of the downtown area gives you the perfect opportunity to see cars from different parts of our region and different parts of the automotive industry! This all happens at 8:00 PM. It's time to cruise the strip! |
THURSDAY NIGHT TUNE UP CRUISE-IN 7:00PM until ???
at Dairy Queen (Between stoplights #6 and #7)on "the strip", US 27.
If you are local to the Somerset/Lake Cumberland area, we invite you to join members of
the Somernites Cruise Team and their friends as we meet to talk cars, maybe enjoy some
food and relax! This is a VERY informal and FREE event, no registration, no door prizes,
no cruise merchandise for sale. It's just a chance to relax and unwind a little before the
fast paced Cruise Weekend begins. Bring your car, your lawn chair and some cruisin'
stories. We'll see you there!

| It's time to have fun cruising your show car or truck down the strip in Somerset KY! Thousands of spectators line both sides of the strip for miles to get one last chance to see your show car or truck and their roaring engines. Most of the great businesses along the strip have extended hours to give everyone a chance to enjoy themselves at the fullest. There are many activities to occupy all your friends and family and of course there are many great places to settle down for the night and eat a good meal. Also tune your radios to 97.1 FM for Great Cruisin Times! Be sure to tell all your friends and family to bring their lawn chairs so they can spectator the awesome cars filling the strip! |

| This is the part of the cruise weekend we have all been waiting for! The Somernites Cruise show and shine! Show cars begin filling the empty streets of downtown Somerset, KY at 2:00 PM. They usually continue to roll in for 3 hours and all the fun begins. Rain or shine the show and shine gives everyone an opportunity to see upwards of 1200 showcars from all shapes, colors and sizes! |
