| Miss SomernitesCruise Pageant March 15th, 2008 at The Center for Rural Development Somerset, KY It's time once again to crown the royalty to represent SomernitesCruise in 2008! The Somerset Junior Woman's Club in conjunction with the Somernites Cruise Team invites you to join the contestants and their supporters at The Center (stoplight #15) beginning at 9:30AM, Saturday, March 15th! Winners will be crowned in many catagories including Wee Miss & Mister, Tiny Tot Miss & Mister, Little Miss & Mister, Young Miss, Somernites Princess, Miss Teen Somernites, Miss Somernites (casual) and Miss Somernites Cruise. Contestants will be competing for the chance to win trophies, prizes and a $500 scholarship to the winner of the Miss Somernites Cruise contest! Deadline for entry in the competition is February 29th for all classes EXCEPT Miss Teen and Miss Somernites The deadline for Miss Teen and Miss Somernites is February 15th Residents of the following counties are eligible: Pulaski, Adair, Bell, Boyle, Casey, Clay, Clinton, Cumberland, Garrard, Green, Knox, Laurel, Lincoln, Madison, McCreary, Rockcastle, Russell, Taylor, Wayne or Whitley Counties in Kentucky. The purpose of these pageants is to find wholesome children and young women to represent the values and goals of the SomernitesCruise team and The Somerset Junior Woman's Club, along with each groups commitment to the community. This is a family oriented program geared to raising funds for local charitable projects and showcasing local youth in the Lake Cumberland area.
