If you live locally or are planning on getting to town early, join
as we relax and tell some cruisin' tales while enjoying some
tasty ice cream! This is a very relaxing way to kick off the cruisin'
weekend.

Friday, July 23rd, Noon-2PM:
Early Bird Meet & Greet/Q97 Live Remote from Visitors Center!
1 block west of Kmart on Hwy 80, stop by and say "hi!", FREE Pepsi's and T-shirts along with great
classic rock from Classic Hits Q97! Cruise Team members will be onhand and we would love to meet
you!

Friday, July 23rd, 6PM-10PM:
Wal-Mart's Rock & Roll Block Party at
The Center (stoplight #15) on US 27!
Bring your classic or hotrod and enjoy this fun, “must do” for the
entire family! Door prizes, contests, food, live bands and dancing!
Over 300 show cars attend this event each month, don't miss it!
Feel free to “cruise the strip” on Friday night as well! Cruise
weekend is just getting started!

Saturday, July 24th, 8:00AM:
Saturday Morning Fun Run  ***NEW LOCATION & TIME!***Lee’s Famous
Recipe Chicken, between stoplights #8 and #9!***
Fun Run participants will receive a FREE breakfast before departing.
We will depart at 9:00AM promptly for the July destination...Gator Made Trailers production facility!
This Fun Run will take you behind the scenes at one of America’s premier trailer production
facilities. Your guided tour will demonstrate how these hotrod haulers are designed and built right
here in the USA!








Saturday, Noon:
***The Power Cruise rolls into Somerset!!!***
The rolling car show that is the Power Cruise begins to arrive from Cincinnati, Knoxville, Bowling
Green, Louisville, Nashville and all points in between! The current Cruise day record of 1,843 show
cars & trucks was set during this event back in 2007...how many will attend in 2010? It's going to be
HUGE so, click the “Power Cruise” button on the left side of the page for all the details and
schedules. This is our biggest show of the year. Mark your calendars now to be a part of the fun!

Saturday, July 24th, 1PM:
Cruise Entrance Gates Open in Downtown
Somerset for the Show & Shine!!!
It’s the Big Show!!! Blocks and blocks of show cars and
trucks! Stroll thru the downtown area admiring all the chrome
and horsepower, talk to car owners and enjoy the family
oriented atmosphere! Don't forget to visit our official
merchandise trailer for the brand new 2010 t-shirts for
adults and kids. In the Vendor Alley, you can sample
great food, check out vendor displays and shop for new performance and restoration parts. There is
always plenty to see and do at Somernites Cruise! We play great cruisin' tunes all over town and
FREE shuttle buses to local shopping centers leave every hour all day!

Cruisin' The Strip all weekend!
It’s Saturday night so, it must be time to cruise! We know it's one of the main reasons you come to
Somernites Cruise so, get your car out on “the strip” and cruise! Thousands of spectators waving
and cheering from street side! Tune your radio to 97.1FM for great tunes and cruise the night away!
We want
to see you cruising your car or truck! It's a blast! Please cruise in the outside lanes, be courteous
and obey all posted traffic laws. We want to see you again next month!
