Tune Up Cruise-in at Dairy Queen on US
27 (stoplight #6)
If you live locally or are planning on getting to town early,
join as we relax and tell some cruisin' tales while enjoying
some tasty ice cream! This is a very relaxing way to kick off
the cruisin' weekend.

Friday, June 24th, Noon-2PM:
Early Bird Meet & Greet/Q97 Live Remote from Visitors Center!
1 block west of Kmart on Hwy 80, stop by and say "hi!", FREE Pepsi's and T-shirts along with great
classic rock from Classic Hits Q97! Cruise Team members will be onhand and we would love to meet
you!

Friday, June 24th, 6PM-10PM:
Wal-Mart's Rock & Roll Block Party
Now Downtown!
Bring your classic or hotrod and enjoy this fun, “must do”
event for the entire family! Door prizes, contests, food, live
bands and dancing! Over 300 showcars attend this event
each month, don't miss it! Feel free to “cruise the strip” on
Friday night as well! Cruise weekend is just getting started!

Saturday, June 25th, 8:00AM:
Saturday Morning Fun Run, Hardee's South,
stoplight #22 on south US 27!
Fun Run participants will receive a FREE breakfast before
departing. We will depart at 9:00AM promptly for the June
destination...MILL SPRINGS BATTLEFIELD!!! This Civil War
battlefield and encampment offers the visitor an opportunity
to walk on the actual site of an early and important battle
from one of the most turbulent times in our country’s past.
You will be witness to living history on display along this
guided tour. This Fun Run is one of our most popular and
informative. Camera’s and camcorders are a must! Small fee for entry to the Battlefield and the
Museum.


Saturday, June 25th, 1PM:
Cruise Entrance Gates Open in
Downtown Somerset for the Show
& Shine!!!
It’s the Big Show!!! Blocks and blocks of showcars
and trucks! Stroll thru the downtown area admiring all
the chrome and horsepower, talk to car owners and
enjoy the family oriented atmosphere! Don't forget to
visit our official merchandise trailer for the brand new
2011 t-shirts for adults and kids. In the Vendor Alley, you
can sample great food, check out vendor displays and shop for new performance and restoration
parts. There is always plenty to see and do at SomernitesCruise! You will enjoy the great cruisin'
tunes all over town too!

June is Camaro & Firebird’s in the
specialty area!
For June, we roll out the red carpet in our
show-within-a-show specialty area for all you F-Body
owners! All Camaro’s including Rally Sports, Super
Sports, Z28’s and any other option will set side by side
with GM’s other performance car for the masses, the
Firebird! Trans Am’s, Formula’s, honeycomb wheels
and shaker hoods, it’s all going to be here! All years of
F-Bodies welcome, from old to brand new! We want to
offer a special invitation to Camaro or Firebird clubs to
make the June show a mini-meet or club outing.   

Kids Kruze Zone!!!
Kids gotta have fun too right??? Located right in the
heart of the Somernites Show & Shine is the Kids Kruze
Zone with fun inflatables sure to put a smile on the faces
of the entire family! This area is monitored, safe and best
of all Mom & Dad...it's completely FREE! Kids can stay
and play as long as they want! You will find the Kids Kruze
Zone just north of Town Square in front of Citizens National
Bank. Event sponsored by Victory Christian Church. 

Saturday Night Cruisin' the Strip, 7pm-????
It’s Saturday night so, it must be time to cruise! We know it's one of the main reasons you come to
SomernitesCruise so, get your car out on “the strip” and cruise! Thousands of spectators waving
and cheering from streetside! Lots of activities at businesses up and down the strip. Tune your radio
to Classic Hits 97.1FM for great tunes and cruise the night away! There's plenty to see and do. We
want to see you cruising your car or truck! It's a blast! Please cruise in the outside lanes, be
courteous and obey all posted traffic laws. We want to see you again next month!
